Meet Chad Boger, DDS

Dr. Chad Boger grew up around dentistry. Boger Dental was founded by his father, Dr. Steve Boger, in 1976, and Chad joined the practice in 2002 after earning his DDS from the University of Minnesota. Since then, he has helped carry forward the family legacy while growing the practice’s focus in cosmetic dentistry, TMJ care, and full-mouth reconstruction. His training lets him look beyond individual teeth to the way the bite, joints, muscles, airway, and smile work together. Whether someone is visiting for routine dentistry, TMJ concerns, bite issues, or a complete smile transformation, his goal is a clear plan that fits the patient’s health, goals, and comfort level.

Dr. Boger has pursued extensive post-graduate training in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, TMJ pain and dysfunction, neuromuscular dentistry, orthodontics, Invisalign, trigger point injections, advanced diagnostic techniques, and sleep dentistry. His training includes work through the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and the Las Vegas Institute.

Community Involvement
Dr. Boger, a proud Minnesota native, deeply values giving back to his community. He has been an active member and past president of the Golden Valley Rotary Club, reflecting his long-standing commitment to service.
Dr. Boger also contributes his leadership and expertise to Ready Set Smile and Smile Network International, two organizations focused on improving children’s oral health and expanding access to dental care. Through Boger Dental, he helped create a partnership with Alice Smith Elementary, part of his childhood school district, to provide preventive care in support of Ready Set Smile’s proactive mission.
With Smile Network International, Dr. Boger has helped extend that preventive care model to children in underserved Native communities in Minnesota and the Dakotas. The initiative brings oral health education, preventive services, and access to care to communities where those resources are often limited.
Boger Dental also participates in the annual Smiles for Life campaign, raising nearly $400,000 over the past 15 years to support children’s charities. The practice supports PRISM, a Golden Valley-based organization offering food pantry and social services, reflecting the team’s shared commitment to helping those in need with dignity and respect. Outside the Office
Outside his professional life, Dr. Boger enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Shayla, and their children, Eleanor and Ansel. He is an avid sports fan, often found playing basketball and golf or unwinding with a good book.
